Course Policies

  • All registrations must be paid in full prior to the course date. PRLA will not collect registration fees on the day of the course.
  • All course materials will be shipped two weeks prior to the course date (unless otherwise specified) via UPS.
  • It is your responsibility to notify PRLA if you have not received your materials prior to the course date.

Cancellations and transfers

  • Cancellations made 15 or more days before the class date will be refunded in full. If you already had received your course materials, you must return them unopened and by traceable means to PRLA to receive your full refund.
  • Transfers made 15 or more days in advance of the class date will not be assessed any additional fees.
  • Cancellations or transfers made 14 days or less prior to course date will be charged a $60 cancellation fee. If you cancel and do not reschedule, you must returned your materials unopened and by traceable means otherwise the cost of the book will be assessed to the student. 
  • Class no shows are not eligible for any refund but can attend another class (you will be responsible for the $60 transfer fee).
  • If you are unable to attend the class, you may send someone else from your establishment in your place at no charge. Call PRLA as soon as possible to provide the new participant's name. Additional materials will not be mailed. It is your responsibility to pass on the materials and instructions/directions to the new participant.

Inclement Weather

  • In the case of inclement weather, the PRLA will not follow the local school district schedule.
  • Information regarding a class' status will be posted on our homepage by no later than 6 a.m. on the day of your class.
  • The office is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. We do not have weekend hours and will not check voicemails until Monday morning.
