On July 1, 2012, the Pennsylvania Restaurant Association (PRA) and Pennsylvania Tourism & Lodging Association (PTLA) entered into a joint venture agreement, combining their memberships and unifying the hospitality and tourism industry within one organization—the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association (PRLA).
The mission of the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association is to promote, protect and improve the hospitality and tourism industry in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
PRLA Vision Statement
By combining the industry's resources, PRLA conveys a unified voice of Pennsylvania's hospitality and tourism industry to the Commonwealth's citizenry and elected officials. Its membership represents various components of the hospitality industry, who are major contributors to the economic growth of the Commonwealth.
The association's bylaws regulate the structure and operation of the organization and were adopted on July 1, 2012. A PDF copy of the bylaws are available for active PRLA members to download.
