ServSafe Food Safety Manager Certification
Food safety is critical in your operation. PRLA offers a variety of ServSafe® Food Safety Manager Certification options for both the first-time and experienced food handler. This certification program is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. Classes begin at 8 a.m. and exams are administered at 3:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
Convenient Course Options
ONE DAY COURSE WITH CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION AND PROCTORED EXAM
$135 Members/$175 Non-members
Recommended for most registrants and includes textbook and answer sheet. Participants study at home and in the classroom. Class size is limited to 35 students.
HOME STUDY WITH A PROCTORED EXAM IN THE CLASSROOM
$110 Members/$135 Non-members
Recommended for the experienced foodservice professional since no classroom instruction is provided. Participants study at home and then attend a proctored exam.
ONLINE COURSE WITH PROCTORED EXAM IN THE CLASSROOM
$150 Members/$190 Non-members
Recommended for the experienced foodservice professional since no textbook or classroom instruction is provided. Online course takes about 8-10 hours to complete and requires a high-speed internet connection.
$60 Members & Non-members
This option is provided for those who must simply re-take the ServSafe exam.
ON-SITE GROUP TRAINING
The class is conducted at your location at a time that fits your operation's schedule. PRLA provides the instructor, all certification materials for the course, as well as any paperwork or documentation to satisfy local and state requirements. There is a minimum of 15 participants for this option.
