Engagement & Event Manager

Are you a restaurant or hotel manager, a beer or wine rep, OR an association professional? Do you have a background in customer/member relations, event planning and/or fundraising? Are you ready for an exciting change?

The Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association is seeking an Engagement & Event Manager to drive growth and engagement within Pennsylvania’s restaurant, hotel, and tourism sectors.

About This Role

In this dynamic position, you’ll:

  • Build and nurture relationships with industry leaders
  • Plan and execute member events and activities that enhance engagement
  • Collaborate with members to understand and meet their needs
  • Travel across Pennsylvania to attend events and meetings (remote/hybrid work available but in-person attendance is required at events and meetings)

This position reports to the CEO and plays a vital part in supporting PRLA’s mission to promote, protect, and improve Pennsylvania’s hospitality and tourism industries.

What We Offer

We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

  • Salary: $62,000-$65,000, commensurate with experience
  • Paid time off

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for events
  • Familiarity with event contracts and hospitality services
  • Background in event planning, fundraising, or guest services preferred
